JCCB has donated over 80,000 pounds of much needed product for Covid-19 relief. Three more truck loads on the way. We normally help our low-income neighbors during the winter holiday season. We will need to replace some of the product that we had obtained for the winter Holiday Shop but have now donated, because there is a need right now. Donations are coming in lower, because of the economic impact of Covid-19, reducing the resources we have to replace these supplies and obtain other merchandise. Due to Covid-19 there will be more neighbors needing help during the winter holiday season but without your help we will have less resources to purchase merchandise to distribute to our low-income neighbors. In order to help our low-income neighbors during the 2020 winter holiday season we need your help.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, most professionals have had to turn their home into their home office. Working remotely during this unprecedented time often means having to focus efforts on what can reasonably be accomplished with more limited resources. However, working from home doesn’t mean you should have to put your professional development or education on hold. Leadership development is as important as it’s ever been. With that in mind, the KU Edwards Campus is drawing awareness to its online trainings, certificates and degree programs as a resource for local professionals and students trying to continue their professional development and education while staying at home. A full list of resources can be found here.
