Craig K. Denny, Ph.D., P.E., F.ASCE
Terracon Consultants, Inc.
Craig has worked for Terracon Consultants since 1973 and has lived and worked in Lenexa since 1985. Craig is a licensed professional engineer and Senior Principal with more than 37 years of geotechnical engineering experience. In simple terms, the technical part of his job is prediction of how structures on or in the ground will perform, based on the engineering properties of the supporting and surrounding soils and bedrock. Terracon is one of the nation’s largest consulting firms and the 4th largest engineering firm headquartered in the Kansas City Metro area (behind Black & Veatch, Burns & McDonnell and HNTB). Terracon provides geotechnical, environmental, construction materials and facilities services to local, regional and national clients.

Personal
Craig and his wife, Terry, have three grown daughters and two grandchildren. They have hosted four exchange students: a boy from Sweden, two girls from Argentina and a girl from Holland. Craig and Terry enjoy traveling, particularly to foreign countries.
