Judi Derks - Effective Promotions & Incentives

Judi Derks started Effective Promotions & Incentives in 1993. She moved to Lenexa in 1996 and has established a thriving business here. The Lenexa Chamber has been a part of that success. Judi joined the Lenexa Chamber in 1997 & immediately became a diplomat (now the Chairman's Ambassadors). She thinks getting involved & being active is very important. Judi is also a 2005 Leadership Lenexa Graduate.

Selling advertising specialties is a competitive business & Judi loves the challenge. Customer satisfaction is the company's top priority. The Internet has really opened the market. Customers are very technologically savvy now. Judi provides the personal touch that you can't get from a web site. Being right here in Lenexa she is just minutes away from being in her customer's office, in person. You won't get that from a company out of state!

Judi is also very involved in the schools two of her daughters attend. Alli is a senior at Shawnee Mission West and Natalie is a 6th grader at Christa McAuliffe. Judi’s oldest daughter, Meredith, is a sophomore at UMKC. Judi loves the flexibility of selling advertising specialties because she can schedule around the girls activities. Being a member of two PTA's and serving on several school committees keeps her on her toes! The whole family is also very involved at their Church. Any spare time she finds she loves to shop, read, and cheer on the MIZZOU Tigers.
