Don Horine - George Butler Associates, Inc.

Don Horine started his career at George Butler Associates, Inc in 1971 upon his graduation from the University of Kansas. He is currently a Vice President and member of the company’s Board of Directors. Presently, GBA has 250 employees and provides all disciplines of engineering and architecture, including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Transportation and Structural as well as Land Surveying and Landscaping Architectural Services.

Don has served the Lenexa Chamber in a number of capacities. He served as Chairman of the Board in 1986, Chairman of the Lenexa Economic Development Council in 1988, and on many various committees since his involvement began in 1981, particularly the membership committees. To date he has recruited almost 150 new members to the Chamber. Presently he serves as a member of the Chairman’s Ambassadors and the Lenexa Economic Development Council.

Don and his wife Anita moved their family to Lenexa in 1978 and still live there today. His daughter Jennifer and son-in-law Sean also live in Lenexa with their two children, Meredith and Olivia. Don’s son Jason, and daughter-in-law Jessica, live in Chicago.
