Ambassador Profile Bill Seymour – Meritex Enterprises Bill Seymour is a Senior Vice President of Meritex, a Minneapolis based developer and investor in Industrial Real Estate. Bill manages the development and operation of the Meritex Lenexa underground complex. Bill and his wife, Raelene, have two daughters, Crissa Cook, a practicing attorney with Hovey Williams, and Rachel, a recent KU grad currently applying to medical school. Bill is a life-long Kansas City resident and has worked in the underground development industry since 1973. He started the Meritex Lenexa project in 1997 which now is home to over 30 businesses occupying over 2 million square feet of space. He is a former member of the Lenexa Chamber Board of Directors, past Chairman of the Lenexa Economic Development Council and has been a Chamber Ambassador since 2008. He is a past President of the Underground Developer’s Association and currently is President and a Board member of the Kansas City Chapter of NAIOP and a Board member of the K-10 Association.
