The Lenexa Economic Development Council (LEDC) depends on its members to help fuel the economic engine of the Lenexa business community.  In joining the LEDC, members make a commitment to see the community continue to grow and thrive.

LEDC is responsible for bringing in new companies and industries to the City of Lenexa.  It is also responsible for keeping the businesses that have already chosen Lenexa as their home.  Since 1998 the LEDC has represented nearly 50 “top drawer” projects creating or retaining over 6,000 new jobs with an estimated new capital investment in excess of $610 million.  The next several years appear to be equally promising as several high-impact prospects are on the agenda.
