Member Referral & Recruitment Program
The Member Referral & Recruitment Program is a continuous campaign to grow the Chamber and provide rewards and recognition to members who participate. Help your chamber grow by referring or recruiting a non-member company for membership!
Here’s How It Works:
2. When doing business with these non-member companies ask them if they have considered signing their business up as a member.
3. Share your story of how your business has benefited from membership, how membership helps us grow our community to bring them even more customers, and how our work keeps Lenexa a great place to do business. View full membership information.
4. Invite them to attend an event as your guest to “check us out”. View the online Calendar of Events
If they are interested in membership and ready to join:
- Have them fill out and submit the online membership application and go to pick up their membership investment check (or have them call the chamber with their credit card number to pay), OR
- Send us their contact information via the Member Referral Form. We will contact the referred business, mention you as the referring member, and close the deal by picking up their membership application and payment for you!
When membership payments are received you choose 1 of 3 rewards!
- $25 cash
- $25 gift card to a chamber member business
- $25 chamber luncheon certificate
At the next Chamber Membership Luncheon:
- You and your company will be recognized from the podium.
- The reward you selected will be presented.
- All members who recruited new members since the last luncheon will be entered into a drawing for $50 CASH!
Bonuses will be presented at the December 14th Business After Hours. Each new member you recruit or refer earns you an entry into a drawing for 2 free Annual Dinner Tickets! The more new members you recruit the more chances you have to win!
- The top recruiter, determined by $ amount, on December 13th earns a $500 BONUS (minimum $2000 in sales).
- The top recruiter, by # sales, on December 13th earns a $400 BONUS (minimum 4 new members).
Both winners also receive a ticket to the Annual Dinner where they will be recognized and rewarded as the Chamber’s 2017 Top Recruiters.
Terms and Conditions
1. All new members must pay the full 12-month membership rate. We are not able to offer the semi-annual billing option for the program. Forms of payment accepted: check, cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover.
2. Only “companies” qualify as new members. “Retired Individuals”, “Affiliate memberships” and “Subsidiary memberships” do not qualify as new members for the program.
3. Referrals must pay their membership investment within 30 days of you submitting the Referral Form.
4. Should a referral form be submitted more than once, the chamber will honor only the first referring party.
5. There is NO LIMIT to the number of referrals you can make, but remember, you need to have spoken with the company about membership and they should be ready to join.
6. The company you work for must be in good standing with the Lenexa Chamber at the time of recognition and bonuses by having its annual membership investment paid up to date.
If you are interested in winning one of the Top Recruiter prizes, the chamber can provide you with some of our leads to work on to secure their memberships. Sometimes it takes an actual member speaking with prospective members about the benefits and services of membership to close the deal.
