MEMBER NEWS PUBLIC INVITED TO ATTEND APRIL LEGISLATIVE FORUMS Lenexa, Kan. - The public is invited to attend one or more legislative forums scheduled this month at locations in Lenexa, Olathe and DeSoto. The forums offer a chance for constituents to talk with state and house representatives prior to the veto session in early May. Each session will include a moderator for questions and light refreshments will be provided. The Lenexa forum is Monday, April 11 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the upper level of the Lenexa Conference Center, located at 11184 Lackman Road. Mayor Mike Boehm will serve as moderator. Refreshments will be provided by Kansas City Power & Light (KCP&L) and AT&T. The Olathe forum is Friday, April 15 at noon in the Council Chambers at Olathe City Hall. Mayor Mike Copeland will serve as moderator. Refreshments will be provided by AT&T and KCP&L. The DeSoto forum is Saturday, April 16 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at First Community Bank.
