MIDWEST VASCULAR ACCESS, LLC SIGNS MULTI-YEAR CONTRACT WITH HCA MIDWEST HEALTH SYSTEM

The Medical Industry recognizes MidWest Vascular Access for securing a multi-year vascular access services contract with HCA Midwest Health Systems, one of the most recognized and respected health systems in the Kansas City area.

Lenexa, KS July 1, 2011: MidWest Vascular Access, LLCof Lenexa, KS, a mobile professional vascular team, recently signed a multi-year contract with HCA Midwest Health System, a division of HCA Health Care, operator of hospitals and health systems in several regions of the country. MidWest Vascular Access will provide specialized vascular services, including difficult peripheral IV’s, PICC’s, Midline Catheters, along withvascular procedure consultation and educationto the medical industry throughout the HCA Midwest facilities.

Michelle Lingenfelser, Chief Nursing Officer, and Founder of MidWest Vascular Access, LLC started the company in 2004, and felt that if the company could secure a contract with HCA Midwest, that would be a pinnacle in her career as a vascular specialist, entrepreneur, and business owner.

In 2004, Michelle Lingenfelser recognized a need to provide outsourced specialized vascular IV services for healthcare facilities throughout the Kansas City market. Today, MidWest Vascular Access has more than 15 professional and certified vascular clinicians providing PICC and Midline catheter services, 24/7, in more than 50 hospital, and healthcare facilities throughout the Kansas City area.
