Two Olathe Schools Schedule Ribbon-Cuttings

Mission Trail Middle School
Mission Trail Middle School—Home of the Timberwolves—will open its doors for students (grades 6-8) in August. In celebration of that event, a ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for all area patrons from 4-6 p.m. Aug. 9 at the school, located at 1001 N. Persimmon Drive.  Attendees will have an opportunity to view the school.

Olathe North High School
Olathe North High School, 600 E. Prairie St., will host a ribbon-cutting event from 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, to celebrate additions and renovations to the school. The community is invited to attend and view the changes, including a two-story academic wing, a new entry, and expanded commons and administrative areas. In 2008, patrons voted to fund additions to all four high schools to accommodate freshmen.
