PREMIER BANK HOSTS FUNDRASING EVENT

LENEXA, KS – Premier Bank is proud to announce they will be sponsoring their first annual “EGG-stravaganza” benefiting the Shadow Buddies Foundation. The event will be held on site at Premier Bank’s main bank located at 15301 W 87th Street Parkway (87th and Lackman Road) in Lenexa on August 20, 2011 from 1-3pm.

The mission of the Shadow Buddies Foundation is to provide emotional support through education regarding illness, disability, or medical treatments. Shadow Buddies are condition specific dolls designed to be a friend “just like me” for seriously ill or medically challenged children. “Shadow Buddies are not about finding a cure – they are about providing hope, love and joy to children in need” says Marty Postlethwait, CEO and cofounder of Shadow Buddies Foundation.  

The EGG-Stravaganza will include children’s activities as well as an Ambulance and Fire Truck on site for tours. There will also be an Egg Toss contest for big kids. At 2pm eggs will be cracked over the heads of several Premier Bank employees for a donation. “As a community bank we strive to be an active partner in the community's growth and development through volunteering and other support for numerous community events, helping serve all facets of the community.  We are excited to host the EGG-Stravaganza for Shadow Buddies” states Reed Nixon, president and CEO of Premier Bank.
