MEMBER NEWS STEP OUT: WALK TO FIGHT DIABETES Location: Theis Park on the Plaza Date: Saturday, September 25, 2010 Time: 7:30am Check-in 9:00am Start Details: Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes is the American Diabetes Association’s largest annual fundraising and education event. Step Out is a one-day walk that takes place in over 150 cities across the United States to help raise money to find a cure for the over 24 million Americans living with diabetes, including more than 320,000 in the Kansas City area. The walk route is approximately 3 miles, with several rest stops along the way. The morning will include a Health & Wellness Fair, activities for children, food, and live entertainment. The event is open to people of all ages and abilities and will be a perfect day for the entire family!
