TERRACON'S FRANK MILANO RECEIVES CIO VISION AWARD

OLATHE, Kan. --- Chief Information Officer Frank Milano and Terracon’s Information Technology Department have been awarded the Midsize Enterprise Summit’s CIO Vision Award for Best Document Management Solution. The Midsize Vision Award honors companies and individuals who demonstrate innovation, excellence and partnership in deploying IT solutions.

The awards were presented at the Midsize Enterprise Summit, the only global event addressing the information technology issues that are unique to midsize organizations. The event brought together senior IT executives from midsized businesses with leading emerging technology providers to enable strategic IT decision making.

The winners were selected for their ability to improve business processes, reduce costs, attract and retain new customers and expand current customer relationships. Terracon competed against 150 entries from midsize companies with revenues between $100 million and $1 billion. Terracon received the award for implementing a system that helped to better deliver large files daily to client Web sites and the more than 100 Terracon offices, saving more than $400,000. Submitted applications were judged by the editorial content team of the Everything Channel, who organized the summit.

Terracon is an employee-owned engineering consulting firm providing geotechnical, environmental, construction materials and facilities services from nearly 100 offices nationwide with more than 2,500 employees. Terracon currently ranks 46th on Engineering News-Record’s List of Top 500 Design Firms. For additional information about Terracon, please visit www.terracon.com.
