This food hall offers international flavors made by local vendors. The Market is host to regular events like Family Nights and Friday Night Sound Bites, as well as special events including the Food Truck Frenzy, Farm to Fork, the Kid Maker Market, and holiday season celebrations.

 

POWDER CREEK SHOOTING PARK

This full-service gun club has three skeet fields, three trap fields, a 1.2 mile long sporting clays course, an archery range, and a 5-Stand. Facility is open to competitive shooters, sportsmen, and recreational shooters. Additional features include a fishing pond, an off-leash dog area, and a club house.

SMILEY’S GOLF COMPLEX

This golf complex includes a driving range, two 18-hole miniature golf courses, and an 18-hole executive golf course. This family-owned business has been rated in Golf Range Magazine’s “ Top 100 Ranges in America” for more than 15 years.

URBAN AIR

This Ultimate Indoor Adventure Park is way more than a trampoline park. This year-round indoor amusement park is the perfect place where the whole family can jump, soar, race, climb, and play.

WALNUT POND AGRICULTURAL CENTER

Walnut Pond Agricultural Discovery Center is a non-profit organization that produces hay, vegetables, and animal products. They provide demonstrations for educational purposes and focus heavily on conservation and sustainability.

CITY HALL ART GALLERY

Lenexa loves art and is proud of its public art collection. So much so that an art gallery was added when the new city hall was built in Lenexa City Center. The gallery shows highlight works created by local and regional artists.

LENEXA HISTORICAL COMPLEX

This complex, located in Sar Ko Par Trails Park, is home to Legler Barn, built in 1864, and now used as Lenexa’s history museum; the Lenexa Train Depot, Strang Line Waiting Station, and a 1900’s replica bandstand.

The original town site includes many buildings that are 100+ years old and the surrounding neighborhoods include some of the first homes built in Lenexa.

BLACK HOOF PARK/LAKE LENEXA

Spanning 231 acres, Black Hoof Park is the area’s largest park. It features the 35-acre, deep-water Lake Lenexa. The park offers a unique dam and spillway, several miles of trails, and fun natural play areas for children. A championship-level 18-hole disc golf course covers 80 acres of challenging terrain and a 9-hole course is perfect for families and beginners. Shelter rentals available.

FLAT ROCK CREEK POOL

This neighborhood pool is open to the public and features zero-depth entry, in-water benches, interactive water feature, three 25-yard lap lanes, one 1-meter diving board, in-deck spray features, basketball goal, AquaClimb rock wall, and a concession stand. Open from end of May until the end of July. Memberships and rental available.

ROLLING MAGIC SKATE PARK

Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park at 87th St. Pkwy. and Greenway Ln.

Named in honor of the original 1970’s park, Rolling Magic is an inclusive venue open to nonmotorized bikes, skateboards, scooters, inline skates and wheelchairs.

SAR-KO-PAR TRAILS PARK

Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park is just more than 50 acres and is home to the Lenexa Historical Complex and the site of the Great Lenexa BBQ Battle and the Spinach Festival. It includes several sport courts and four shelters available to rent. Jogging/walking trails meander throughout the park and around Rose’s Pond.

SHAWNEE MISSION PARK

Shawnee Mission Park is the second largest park in the county. This gem includes a 120-acre lake with a swimming beach and marina, shelters, various nature trails, play areas, an archery range, a 44-acre dog off-leash area, an 18-hole disc golf course, and equestrian trails. It is home to The Theatre in the Park.
