Getting Involved

How can members support Chamber governmental affairs and Lenexa’s continued economic well-being? By taking advantage of opportunities the Chamber offers to participate!

  • Join the Legislative Affairs Committee and lead the way on issues critical to our community. This committee develops and recommends legislative policies to the Board of Directors, tracks information on new issues as they emerge, and builds strong relationships with key public officials. For more information about the committee and meeting times, contact Ashley Sherard at (913) 888-1414 or asherard@lenexa.org.
  •

  • Attend the Chamber’s governmental affairs events. These events provide an opportunity to learn about the latest legislative developments, meet our lawmakers, and network with other members concerned about preserving a positive business environment. Watch your email and the Chamber website throughout the year for information about these events!
  •

  • Complete Chamber surveys and voice your opinion. Public officials cannot represent you if they do not know your positions on the issues at hand!
